Path Games and Gammera Nest‘s first-person horror adventure game Insomnis delivers plenty of scares on GOG.

Insomnis is a great example of how Spanish developers create old-school suspense horror, as it’s about Joe Castevet whose grandfather Roman, an English scientist, died and gave his mansion, together with its many dark secrets, to him.

While the place first seems to be abandoned, Joe finds that he’s not alone, with nightmares soon coming alive. Mixing exploration with analogue and digital puzzles, it’s still an unsettling horror title with some genuine scares.

Insomnis was originally released in January 2022 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 40% launch discount that lasts until January 27, 2023, at 2 PM UTC.
