Strudio Company‘s turn-based global strategy game Kingdom’s Life means a lot of number crunching on GOG.

Kingdom’s Life seems to be one of those titles one either spends a lot of time understanding or not. The sheer amount of content is staggering, as one creates one’s people with their respective coat of arms (and name), leading them from the Middle Ages to modern times as a victorious state.

With 160 laws that can constitute the government and 118 technologies to develop, it becomes clear that this isn’t an easy game, and judging from many reviews, quite a few people have already given up on it due to its complexity… or UI. However, if one sticks with it, there might be many rewarding gameplay mechanics hidden beneath all the numbers.

Kingdom’s Life was originally released in February 2022 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 50% launch discount that lasts until January 30, 2023, at 11 PM UTC. It can also be bought as a bundle together with its soundtrack.
