Game release: “Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets” (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch)

SURT and tinyBuild‘s rhythm action-adventure game Rhythm Sprout: Sick Beats & Bad Sweets certainly takes the cake and eats it fast.

There can’t be enough rhythm action games these days, especially ones that feature wacky characters and stories like in the good old Parappa the Rapper days. It can’t get any crazier than in this title that is about Sprout, the Chosen Onion, who has to help the people of the Vegetable Kingdom get rid of Sweet Villains.

Featuring various genres like EDM, K-POP, Drum’n’Bass, Disco, Lo-fi hip-hop, Metal, and more, there is plenty of variety, as one fights in music stages against weird enemies and even stranger bosses. If the graphics aren’t colorful enough and the speed mind-boggling, then unlocking outfits for Sprout and skins for one’s weapon adds to the crazy presentation.

The game is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch with a 10% launch discount that lasts until February 8, 2023, at 5 PM UTC.
