Airo Games and Daedalic Entertainment‘s classic point-and-clicker Life of Delta presents a different kind of post-apocalyptic world for robots.

The premise is quite simple: After the Great War, humankind has been extinguished, and only service robots and humanoid lizards who came from a nuclear fallout survived. As small service robot Delta, one tries to find his friend and discovers quite a lot of the post-apocalyptic world around him in the process.

Small robots seem to have become quite popular as adventure game protagonists, not only since Machinarium. But very few feature such an atmospheric and above all fantastically-looking world like this one which has 25 hand-painted levels of post-apocalyptic Japan, making it already different from anything else. Add a lot of puzzles and sometimes weird characters, and this could very well be a winner for the genre.

The game is out now on PC and Nintendo Switch with a 10% launch discount (but only for the PC version) that lasts until tomorrow, March 24, 2023, at 2 PM UTC. It’s also available in a Support Adventures! Bundle which includes a digital artbook and a walkthrough brochure as well.
