Iceflake Studios and Paradox Interactive‘s post-apocalyptic strategy and a city-builder simulation Surviving the Aftermath lands in DRM-free territory on GOG.

Surviving the Aftermath is another indication of humanity not having much of a chance in the future, or maybe it does. Despite resources being scarce and people fighting for their lives in a world gone downhill, one still tries to build a colony and keep it alive as long as possible.

Civilization might be a long way off, but one has to start somewhere, in this case it’s gathering resources in the wastelands for new buildings and providing enough food to sustain the people living in the community. Of course rival colonies and natural disasters as well as environmental catastrophes don’t make this easy.

Surviving the Aftermath was originally released in November 2021 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 30% launch discount that lasts until April 3, 2023, at 10 PM UTC. There’s also the Ultimate Colony Edition which includes the Expansion Pass (with the DLCs New Alliances, Shattered Hope, Forgotten Tracks, Rebirth) and exclusive in-game content (the Radio Active radio station, unique quest line, colony flags, specialist, and 2 unique buildings).
