GOG’s Spring Sale is almost at an end, but its finale is accompanied by Snowhound Games/1C Company‘s strategy/RPG/card battler Deep Sky Derelicts as a freebie.
Deep Sky Derelicts was already discussed in this game release news 5 years ago, and despite its age, the retro sci-fi comic book look still sets it apart from other games.
Of course there’s also a deep (pun intended) game behind the pretty visuals, as one builds a team of mercenaries who are on a scavenger hunt in abandoned (or not so abandoned) ships, resulting in quite a few turn-based fights for survival.
Deep Sky Derelicts can be downloaded for free until April 3, 2023, at 1 PM UTC while the Spring Sale lasts until April 3, 2023, at 10 PM UTC.
