GOG release: “Dance of Cards”

GoodMorningMrFrog and Pineapple Works‘ unique poker RPG Dance of Cards deals DRM-free on GOG.

If you thought games can’t surprise you with their genre mixes anymore, then something like Dance of Cards comes along in which 16 passengers on the ocean liner Magnific are forced to play a deadly game of cards on their way to the New World. In seven days, they have to face each other at the poker table and survive the game as well as build trust with each other.

It’s certainly a unique concept and should make the game much more attractive to people who wouldn’t want to find themselves in a game of poker any other day. With 16 strong personalities, their talents, and playstyles, the focus on immersive storytelling doesn’t end there, because one can explore the ship and find unexpected secrets, too.

Dance of Cards was originally released in April 2023 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 30% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, June 13, 2024. Its soundtrack can also be bought with the same discount and is definitely worth buying, as one can sample it on the developer’s YouTube channel.
