Ishtar Games and The Arcade Crew‘s tactical fantasy roguelite RPG The Last Spell receives another battle-heavy dose of heavy metal combat with the Dwarves of Runenberg DLC.
I already covered the base game in this game release news, and while it was available on consoles, this one is PC-only. As the title suggests, a new race is introduced with the Dwarves as well as a new map that focuses on the Haven of Runenberg where most of them live and have to fight and defend themselves against the Harplings.
Being prepared for these enemy encounters means new weapons and items, but of course it’s the Dwarves’ special skills and abilities that spice things up, as they have a warcry that makes their buddies fight harder; they’re stronger, but can also dig tunnels to get back safely. With a War Shield, big cannon, and gauntlet, it becomes clear that these guys won’t go down in a fight easily.
The DLC is out now on PC with a 10% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, May 1, 2024, at 1 PM UTC.
