GOG release: “Zombotron”

Ant.Karlov and Armor Games Studios‘s side-scrolling shooter Zombotron puts the fun into the gore again on GOG.

After the recent Armor Games Studios release of Never Give Up on GOG, Zombotron is another addition that celebrates classic arcade gaming and pure fun. Based on the web series, the game is about mercenary Blaze Rush who follows a distress beacon and lands on a planet where a crash site reveals much more than he bargained for: mostly zombies to shoot.

The wide range of weaponry doesn’t only include guns and armor, but other brutal ways to destroy enemies, e.g. crushing them with an elevator or sending them down there with a kick. Running zombies over with vehicles is also possible and obviously a lot of fun, too. Never mind the campy storyline if the gameplay relies on some good-old fashioned shooting in a pretty nice package of detailed and colorful environments plus great-looking enemy designs.

Zombotron was originally released in April 2019, but is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 15% launch discount that will last until August 20th, 4pm UTC.
