Epic Games Store free games: “Darksiders I+II” and “Steep”

Epic Games Store celebrates the new year by giving away three games for free.

THQ Nordic‘s Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition might be familiar to most who’ve followed my blog, as I’ve not only previewed the former and latter, but also covered the sequel in the Amazon/Twitch Prime free games in November 2019 article. Of course this doesn’t mean that these new versions of the classic action-RPGs aren’t welcome anymore, as they offer just as much gory action as before.

Ubisoft‘s extreme sports title Steep is quite a different proposition and fits the winter theme better, as it’s an open-world playground for anyone interested in using skis, wingsuits, snowboards and paragliders in a snowy landscape. This might be the best way to experience it without suffering any major injuries or feeling the cold, making staying at home and downloading the game for free that much more intriguing. All three games can now be added to one’s Epic Games Store account for free until January 9, 2020, at 5 pm.
