It’s getting a bit warmer outside, but GOG’s Spring Sale gives more than enough reasons to stay indoors, especially with Harvester Games‘s and Screen 7‘s psychological horror adventure Lorelai as a freebie.

Lorelai was already given the review treatment 4 years ago during the Halloween gaming special week and while I was a bit disappointed with Michalski’s conclusion of the Devil Came Through Here adventure trilogy (compared to the amazing The Cat Lady or the entertaining Downfall: Redux), there’s no doubt about the excellent art direction and overall gruesome atmosphere.

It’s about a young girl who literally fights her own demons in the form of the troubled past with her parents. Being a Harvester Games title, graphic violence and disturbing imagery are a given, and so are some of the obscure puzzles. It’s definitely not for everyone (or every stomach/psyche), but that’s what makes it so appealing.

Lorelai can be downloaded for free until tomorrow, March 23, 2023, at 2 PM UTC while the Spring Sale lasts until April 3, 2023, at 10 PM UTC.
