Some news or opinions not related to gaming, movies, books or other media? Well, there’s still a world outside the screen or pages to explore, or not…
Okay, so I’ll just keep this short and simple: What’s all the fuss about the total eclipse? I remember “experiencing” this event way back in… I don’t even know when. And what did I see? Nothing. I went with my school class by bus oh so very long ago oh so very far away to the “perfect spot”, and the most excitement we had was trying to find something else happening in a village nearby. It was more like a big picnic. Expectations were higher, but at least the special glasses were cheaper.
Sure, it’s one of those things you only see in a few years’ time, but there’s also a chance that you don’t see it like other people, because it’s simply too cloudy, foggy or you’re just not outside, more like underground, depending on where you work or what you do. It’s also possible that some people are sleeping… or just don’t care. IMHO, it’s not really a monumental life-changing, tell-your-grandchildren sort of experience, but that’s just me, not believing or understanding the whole hype going on. Maybe I’ll just watch Pitch Black with Vin Diesel, as this was quite thrilling and you get what you see. The glasses look just too cool. As a side note: I haven’t seen anything again of the total eclipse in real life due to clouds, mist. Good thing I didn’t buy the glasses or waited in anticipation…
Reader’s reaction/opinions:
So I’d like to know from you: Have you witnessed a total eclipse before? Is this your first time? Have you seen anything? Were you excited, disappointed? Please share your thoughts, I’m eager to hear them :).
