Guin Entertainment and Graffiti Games‘ cartoon platformer Adventures of Chris has a different kind of superhero.

In the world of superheroes it’s difficult to stand out with so many special powers and costumes, but Chris is somehow different, as he overcomes school bullying because of his rather chubby appearance and uses it to defeat evil around the world, i.e. he can float around like a balloon and hit enemies with fireballs and lightning.

Other special abilities and powers can be attained throughout the adventure by either learning or buying them, which is essential to get rid of samurai cats, cyborg penguins and snowmen, to name but a few antagonists. It’s clear that everything is presented in a tongue-in-cheek way and a great cartoon style. With its easy-to-relate main character, there’s certainly plenty of heart that went into the production of the title.

The game is out now on PC and Nintendo Switch with a 15% launch discount that lasts until October 15, 2020, at 5 PM UTC.
